Digital Printing Press Operator
Have you been in the grocery store and wondered just how the deli looks like a barbeque restaurant, or a Parisian cafe at twilight?
Our client will take customer's ideas and turn them into a reality. They are a one-stop-shop from idea to drafting to crafting to installation to transform a space.
The Good Stuff
Pay : $18-20 / hr $1 / hr shift differential will pay more for prior great experience
Location : Fairfield, OH
The Need-to-Know
Job Duties
- Stock Inventory continuously; rolls may weigh more than 150 pounds
- Verify print files with the office prior to printing to ensure the correct job is up
- Report inventory levels of consumables like ink, bulbs, cleaning solution, etc.
- Responsible for notifying management when press needs repair work, or basic maintenance if needed.
- Set up and change over press between jobs
- Load and unload rolls from press
- Retrieve ink, cores or other supplies as needed Job Knowledge / Skills Needed
- Working knowledge of Grand Format Digital Press or general knowledge of operations
- Simple mathematical abilities
- Able to read a ruler
- Mechanical skills
- Computer literacy
- 1-3 years in printing production field
- HP Operator 1 or Durst certified technician a PLUS This position would be temp-to- hire . Think of it as a trial run prior to starting with the client full-time.
